ROCHESTER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater High School sophomore Jillian McKinley closed out her season on Saturday by setting another school record in the 50 freestyle at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division Three Girls Swimming and Diving Finals at Oakland University.
McKinley finished ninth in the state as she won her consolation heat with a time of 24.30. It was the second straight day she had set a school record in the event. McKinley was 20th in the 100 freestyle preliminaries Friday, while Coldwater’s Leah Goodwin was 23rd in the one meter diving preliminaries which was the best finish ever for any Coldwater diver.
