BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The field of candidates to be the next Superintendent of Bronson Community Schools has been narrowed to seven following Monday night’s Bronson School Board meeting.
Among the candidates is former Anderson Elementary School Principal Harmonee McCrea who is currently serving as the principal at Wall Elementary School in Sturgis along with Bronson native Jessica Bucklin.
The other finalists are Michael Fitzpatrick, Suzanne Cavaneugh, Kevin Kelly, Constantine Superintendent Steve Wilson and Katheleen Ramirez.
The Michigan Association of School Boards is assisting the district with the search for Rick Hilderley’s replacement.
The timeline calls for the first round of interviews to be conducted next Wednesday, December 4 and Thursday, December 5.
A second round of interviews and a possible selection by the School Board has been scheduled for December 10 and December 11, 2019.
Whoever is selected is scheduled to start as the new Bronson Superintendent January 2, 2020.
