MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School Boys Basketball teams were swept by Marshall on Tuesday night.
The Legg eighth grade A team traveled to Marshall short handed and lost in double overtime 46-41. Zach Coffing scored 28 points for Legg. Evan Porter and Tyson Roby each scored five points.
The Legg eighth grade B team lost at Marshall 49-31. Gabe Wagoner had 14 points for the Cardinals while Dawson Brown added 10 points. Gabe Wagoner had seven rebounds and Kyle Litwiller had four steals.
The Legg seventh grade A team lost to Marshall 51-37. Niko Downs led Legg with 12 points while Ayden Dirschell had 10 points. Landon Auble and Ayden Dirschell both had eight rebounds.
The Legg seventh grade B team lost to Marshall 28-10. Dane Knapp led Legg with five points. Sam Palmerton had nine rebounds while Claudel Wischmeyer had three steals.
