UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Union City officially kicks off the Christmas season Saturday night with the annual Santa parade which will be hosted by the Union City Chamber of Commerce.
Santa Claus will be available at Southern Michigan Bank and Trust immediately after the parade, which starts at 7:00 p.m.. Children can have their picture taken with Santa for a donation of a non-perishable food item or cash.
The line-up for vehicles and floats in the parade begins at 5:30 p.m. at Robbins Auto Value.
Walkers will leave from the old Putnam Funeral Home when the parade starts.
The parade will wrap up a day full of holiday activities in Union City which include a window decorating contest and Small Business Saturday.
