COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The holiday season has arrived and there will be plenty of activities this Saturday in Coldwater.
For the second straight year, the Branch Area Lions Club will host the “Lights of Love” which will take place in the southwest corner of the Four Corners Park in downtown Coldwater Saturday night in conjunction with the annual Christmas Parade.
All proceeds will be directed to the local Lions Club and be used to assist those in Branch County with the purchase of vision & hearing aids as well as funding diabetes education and prevention.
The annual Coldwater Christmas Parade will take place Saturday night starting at 7:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Songs of the Season”. Kimberly Van Horn will be the Grand Marshal. Entries are still be accepted. More information is available on the parade’s Facebook page.
Also Saturday will be the sixth annual Jingle Bell Rock Vendor Show to benefit Toys for Tots at the Masonic Temple in Coldwater from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.. Admission is free and nearly 40 vendors will be on hand. Those who bring in a toy for Toys for Tots will get five free tickets to enter into the giveaways.
The annual “Breakfast With Santa” and Cookie Walk sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and Council of Catholic Women will be held Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Activities Building.
The Coach Eby Youth and Family Center will be used by the Branch County Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence for the Pancakes with Santa supper. It starts at 4:00 p.m. and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there for all of the kids.
The Branch County Community Theatre will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” this Friday and Saturday at the Tibbits Opera House. Showtimes are 7:00 p.m. on Friday night and 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
