BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The field of candidates to be the next Superintendent of Bronson Community Schools has been reduced to three following two nights of interviews with the Board of Education.
The three finalists are Suzanne Cavaneugh, Jessica Bucklin, and Steve Wilson.
A second round of interviews, and a possible selection by the School Board, has been scheduled for Tuesday.
Just like in the first round, one hour has been alloted for each of the finalists. Kavanaugh will be interviewed at 5:00 p.m., followed by Bucklin at 6:00 p.m., and Wilson at 7:00 p.m..
There will be a meet and greet with the three finalists in the Bronson Junior/Senior High School Media Center Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m..
The Michigan Association of School Boards is assisting the district with the search.
Whoever is selected to succeed Rick Hilderly is scheduled to start as the new Bronson Superintendent January 2, 2020.
Hilderly left the Bronson district in October after accepting the Superintendent’s job in Tecumseh.
