COLDWATER – (WTVB) – An opening in the Coldwater Police Department has been filled.
City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that Greg Morick is the department’s newest officer.
Morick is a Coldwater High School graduate and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Morick attended the Kellogg Community College police academy and previously worked for the Quincy Police Department. He has also worked in a supervisory role in Wal-Mart’s loss prevention department. He and his family live in Coldwater.
Morick takes over for Officer Suleiman Sumbal who has resigned effective December 16, 2019 to take a position with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
