BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A $35,000 check was presented by Consumers Energy during Monday’s Bronson City Council meeting which will fund the new Farmers Market pavilion in Bronson.
The pavilion will be located where a blighted home at 7 Foy Court was recently demolished.
Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman says they plan to start building the pavilion in the spring.
Before the home was torn down, the Bronson Fire Department used it for training which help offset some of the demolition expense.
Mersman said recently the site will offer plenty of parking and be close to the downtown location where the Farmers Market has been held in recent years.
