COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County’s seventh annual version of Shop With A Cop is being called a huge success at the Coldwater Walmart.
Police and firefighters from around Branch County along with corrections officers from Lakeland Correctional Facility and staff from LifeCare Ambulance were on hand to help children who were selected by the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
The Shop with a Cop program is sponsored by the Branch County Sheriff’s Department and organized by the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
Everybody involved enjoyed a dinner together and then drove with lights and sirens blazing on U.S. 12 to Walmart.
A total of 27 children were involved in this years program.
