Trenton Parish Crisp, 21, of Coldwater, formerly of Tekonsha, passed away unexpectedly at home Monday, December 30, 2019.
A celebration of Trenton’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Tekonsha, 914 N. Main Street, Tekonsha, with Pastor Brian Perry officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00PM on Sunday, January 5, 2020, also at the First Baptist Church of Tekonsha.
Trenton was born on March 13, 1998 in Marshall, MI to Robert and Megan (Parish) Crisp. He graduated from Tekonsha High School in 2016 and attended Kellogg Community College. He had been employed by McDonald’s in Tekonsha when he was in high school and was most recently employed at Voltek in Coldwater.
Trenton enjoyed being outside, spending time at his grandparents’ farm in Tekonsha and hunting with family. He was very close to his father and brother, over the moon for his baby boy and fiercely loyal to his family, who nicknamed him “Braveheart.” Trenton was always smiling and lit up the room. He was a kind soul who never met an enemy.
Left to cherish Trenton’s memory are his son, James Crisp of Sherwood, age five months; his parents, Robert (Stacy) Crisp of Tekonsha and Megan Crisp of Kentucky; his siblings, A.J. Crisp, Kolby Crisp and Calvin Crisp, all of Tekonsha; step-siblings Ashli Yeggie of Coldwater, Kayla Yeggie of Coldwater and Ryan Yeggie of Marshall; grandparents, Mark and Jessica Dibert of Tekonsha, Marcia Dibert of Lawrenceberg, KY and Jim & Sharon Necessary of Tekonsha; great-grandparents Carl and Maxine Teachout of Cheboygan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James R. Crisp (2012).
Memorial donations are suggested to Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation, P.O. Box 161, Union City, MI 49094 to assist the family with final expenses.
