Judy Kay Burger, 65, of Allen, passed away at home Friday, January 3, 2020, surrounded by family, under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 136 E. Chicago Road, Coldwater, MI, with Pastor Kim Cole officiating. The service will be followed by a luncheon at the church.
The family is being assisted by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
Judy was born on December 28, 1954 in Coldwater, MI to Maurice and Alma (Lewis) Luse. She graduated from Hillsdale High School and on October 30, 1982 she married Keith Burger in Reading. They celebrated their 37th anniversary this past fall. Judy worked at Burger King and Coldwater Service.
Away from work, she enjoyed camping, fishing, crafting and playing cards. She attended the Church of the Holy Spirit in Coldwater.
Survivors include Judy’s husband, Keith; her children, Tanya Lewis, Micheal Skaggs and Adam Skaggs; grandchildren, Priscilla Ringle, Steven Ringle, Alexander Skaggs, Hailee Skaggs, Dallas Skaggs, Delanie Skaggs and Wyatt Skaggs; three great grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and sibings, Betty Gleason of Coldwater, Jack Luse of Hudson, NC, Larry Luse of Grand Rapids and Peggy Viner of Clinton, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Alma Luse.
