Lana Marcelle Kent, 72 of Coldwater passed away
Thursday, January 9, 2020 at her home.
In following Lana’s wishes, cremation has taken place
and no formal services are planned at this time. The family was cared for by
Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater.
Lana was born October 19, 1947 to Rex and Lillian
(Belcher) Adkins in Pikeville, KY. She graduated from high school and spent
most of her time as a homemaker raising her three sons.
Lana was an avid “old”
country music fan who also liked watching scary movies and television shows. She
loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lana will be
remembered for her distinctive laugh and her beautiful personality.
Lana is survived by her companion of 40 years, Karl
McNulty of Coldwater; her sons David (Caroline) Massey of Brighton, Brian
(Kelli) Massey of Coldwater, and Anthony (Kim) Kent of Wilmington, NC; her
sister Rita Adkins of Coldwater; her grandchildren Kyle, Victoria, Nickolas,
Brad, Marcus, McCoy, Ava, Kassie, and Clay; and her dog “Pookie”.
She was
preceded in death by her parents.
