COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In high school bowling, Coldwater swept Parma Western in a home meet Tuesday as the Lady Cards took a 30-0 win while the boys scored a 18-12 triumph.
Coldwater’s girls were paced by Rilee Cooper-Lewis with a 351 series, Allison Caswell with a 359 and Noella Keplinger with a 359. The girls outscored Western 1,610 to 1,008 in regular games and 287-193 in the Baker games.
The varsity boys won the first regular game 846 to 725 but lost the second game 788-741. Coldwater took totals 1,587-1,513. The boys were led by Kai Kinsey with a 403 set, Logan Cleckner had a 199 game and Austin Johnson a 170 game. Coldwater split the Baker games 217-160 and 161-170 but took the total 378-330.
In JV bowling action Coldwater won a close one 16 to 14. Coldwater took the regular games 1307-1128, then dropped the baker games 220-215. Coldwater by Andon Parshall with a 180 game, Alex Rogers with a 160 and Desirae Kling with a 164.
The Coldwater JV girls joined the boys team, as Parma didn’t field a girls team.
