Andrew G. “Andy” Weaver, 66, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his home. He was born December 29, 1953 in Coldwater to Vern and Delores (Hawver) Weaver. He married Deborah Loose, and she survives.
Andy graduated from Quincy High School, Class of 1973. He was retired from the maintenance department at Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. Andy loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved gardening, beekeeping and was skilled at woodworking.
Surviving besides his wife, Deb are two children, Matt (Dusty) Weaver and Trishia (Dustin) Fickle, both of Coldwater; four grandchildren, Lydia Weaver, Natalee Weaver, Landen Fickle and Kadence Fickle; three siblings, Dan (Pat) Weaver of Homer, Kathy (Bob) Price of Quincy and Tony (Penny) Weaver of Quincy; sister-in-laws, Kris Loose and Pam (Keith) Pohl, both of Coldwater; mother-in-law, Patricia Loose of Coldwater; and many nieces and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Wayne Loose.
Memorial services for Andrew “Andy” Weaver will be held Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Union Church of Quincy with Pastor Brad Parrish officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Union Church. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
