JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – After splitting at Harper Creek Tuesday night, the Coldwater High School boys and girls varsity basketball teams have another Interstate 8 Conference match-up at Jackson Lumen Christi tonight.
The boys picked up a win against the Beavers, keeping them just one game out of first place in the conference.
Today’s action at Lumen Christi will begin with the girls junior varsity game at 4:00 p.m., followed by the varsity girls at 6:00 p.m. and the varsity boys around 7:30 p.m.

Also in local basketball, the St. Charles Borromeo Cougars defeated the Factoryville Falcons 28-23 in a Sturgis Christian league game Thursday night in Factoryville. The Falcons kept the game close by hitting four triples. The Cougars were led in scoring by Jimmy Maynard with 14 points, followed by Josie Mescher with 5 points, Christopher Grahl with 4 points, Brody Haylett with 3 points and Logan Stritzinger with 2 points.
The Cougars are 2-1 on the season with their next game against Trinity Lutheran of Sturgis. The game to be held at Lake Area Christian School at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday January 30.
