COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Community Schools Superintendent Terry Whelan told the District Board of Education Monday night that ten persons have expressed an interest in serving on the board.
A vacancy was created last month when Jean Milnes stepped down.
She said one of the candidates has withdrawn their name. The nine remaining candidates will be interviewed during special meetings that will start at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
The new board member is scheduled be selected on Wednesday.
Whoever is selected will serve out the balance of Milnes’ term which expires in 2024.
