COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Members of the Coldwater City Council and the Downtown Development Authority Board will hold a joint meeting and tour of the former Taylor’s Stationers building at 60 West Chicago on Monday afternoon before the regular meeting of the City Council.
Participants will tour the three story historic building that was recently purchased by the D.D.A. for over $107,000 which officials say will be used as a downtown development catalyst.
A Request for Qualifications from developers is ready to be sent out after a draft was reviewed last Wednesday by the Coldwater Downtown Development Authority Board.
The building has been empty since the spring of 2016.
Time permitting, a tour of 71 and 73 West Chicago Street will follow.
The public notice states this is an informational meeting only with no action to be taken.
