BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Police Department with the help of Bronson Junior/Senior High School counselor Haley Houtz has donated several bicycles back to needy high school students.
Unattended, lost or stolen bicycles are found in Bronson throughout the year.
Usually, the police department holds onto the bikes for several months and if they remain unclaimed, they go to an auction.
But several very nice bicycles were unclaimed this year so the police department donated them back.
Houtz then helps identify the students that could benefit the most.
