JACKSON, MI. – (WTVB) – The Coldwater bowlers split with Parma Western on Thursday at Jax 60 Lanes. The girls continued their winning ways as they defeated Western 29-1 while the boys lost a close match 16-14.
The Coldwater girls dominated the regular games 796-668 and 856-673 to take total pinfall 1652-1341. They also won both baker games 172-136 and 165-152, taking totals 337-288. All 5 starters contributed to the win.
The boys lost the first regular game 888-865 but won the second game 843-849. They lost total pinfall by 19 pins, 1727-1708. Coldwater split the baker games, losing game one 204-193 but winning game two 202-170. Coldwater won the baker totals 395-374. Coldwater was led by Kai Kinsey with a 234 and Ryan Sturgeon with a 212.
The JV Squad won 24-6. Coldwater fielded a co-ed team as they won the regular games 1447-1213. Coldwater split the baker games but won total pinfall 310-300. Coldwater was led on the night by Alex Rogers with a 212 and Chance Cook with a 212 and a 179.
