Barbara J. Scott, 86, of Bronson, passed away Friday,
February 7, 2020 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February
11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr.
Dan Hyman officiating. Interment will
follow at Bronson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2020
from 4-7:00 PM, with the Rosary to begin at 6:00 PM, at Dutcher Funeral Home in
Bronson.
Barbara was born July 5, 1933 in Bronson, MI to Stephen
& Emaline (Herman) Kibiloski. She
married Edward A. Scott on November 8, 1991 in Angola, IN. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2004.
Barb was a dedicated mother and homemaker and had worked at
the Coldwater State Home for over 15 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s
Church and enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and most especially spending
time with her grand and great grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her children Marsha (Val) Peavy of
Flagstaff, AZ, Michael (Vicki) Hanselman of Tecumseh, Emily (Dennis) Speece of
Jacksonville, FL, Frances (Leo) Blouin of Bronson, her brother Richard “Dickie”
Kibiloski of Florida, her grandchildren Scott Peavy, Chris Peavy, Staci Blouin,
Jamie Knauss, Chad Speece, Joe Blouin, Kristi Hanselman, Cortney Peavy, Bryan
Speece, Adam Speece, Mike Hanselman, Rob Blouin and many great and great, great
grandchildren.
In addition to her
husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Richard Kibiloski,
Rachael Penix, Maryann Hannon, Martha Mae Kellett & Ronnie Kibiloski.
Memorials may be directed to the Bronson Boys Little League
or the Bronson Varsity Softball.
