QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Quincy Fire Department has announced that their new Rescue Engine 33 was officially placed into service last Sunday and has already been busy on several calls.
Officials say a significant part of the cost of the truck included newer tools and equipment mounting. Utilizing all available space was critical to get all the necessary gear on this truck.
The truck was put together by Sensible Products Incorporated of Richfield, Ohio.
All of the equipment is secured in place which will extend tool and equipment life and more importantly be safer for the crews.
This truck is loaded with equipment and will respond to almost any type of emergency.
An open house and dedication ceremony will be planned for early in the spring.
