BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Kim Hinkley has officially become Calhoun County Clerk and Register of Deeds.
She was sworn-in Tuesday after being appointed as the interim chief deputy by 71-year-old Anne Norlander, who retired January 31, 2020.
Norlander announced in December 2019 she would retire after being on the job for 31 years.
Hinkley will serve the balance of Norlander’s term which expires at the end of the year. Hinkley plans to run for a full term in this years election.
