COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Director of Public Safety Joe Scheid said in a statement released late Friday afternoon that the Coldwater Police Department has received a complaint alleging misconduct by a Coldwater Police Officer.
As part of department policy, the Michigan State Police have been asked to conduct an investigation.
Scheid says the department has placed the officer on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
The officers name has not been released and Scheid says no further comment on this matter will be made at this time.
