STEVENSVILLE, MI (WTVB) – The road to Ford Field in Detroit begins Saturday for high school wrestlers around Michigan as the Michigan High School Athletic Association Individual Wrestling District Tournaments will be held.
Coldwater will be competing in the Division Two district tournament hosted by Stevensville-Lakeshore.
Bronson, Quincy, Tekonsha and Union City will all be at the Division Four District Tournament hosted by Hudson.
Branch County had two state champions last year. Brayton Mears of Union City won the 103 pound title while Bronson’s Ben Modert won his second straight state championship at 112 pounds.
Also in high school sports Saturday, Bronson’s bowling teams will be competing at the SAC Tournament
