ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – The Emergency Department at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola along with Steuben County E.M.S. are inviting community members March 12 to learn how to treat injured persons during a mass casualty event.
The program is called “Stop the Bleed” and it’s designed to inform and instruct people on how to react in the event of an accident or disaster.
Those who take part will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, how to apply dressings, and how to apply tourniquets.
The training will take place in Conference Room One at Cameron Hospital and only 50 spots are available.
