BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – All of the Branch County high school basketball teams will be on the road Friday night in girls/boys varsity doubleheaders.
Coldwater will be at Pennfield with the boys game determining sole possession of first place in the Interstate 8. The Coldwater boys are 10-6 overall and 8-3 in the I-8 while the Coldwater girls are 6-5 in the conference and 8-9 overall.

In the Big 8 Conference, Quincy will be at Concord, Union City plays at Homer and Bronson will travel to Reading. In boys basketball only, Tekonsha will host Burr Oak.

Aiden Marsden led the Cardinals with 14 points. Jett Galloway added 10 points.
Freshman Boys— Pennfield 55, Coldwater 47.
Elijah Sloan led Coldwater with a game-high 27 points which included seven triples.
