COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Two incumbent Branch County judges who were first elected in 2008 have filed with the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office to seek another term in office.
Branch County Circuit Court Judge Bill O’Grady filed with the state last Thursday as he is seeking another six year term on the bench. After first being elected 12 years ago, O’Grady ran unopposed in 2014.
Meanwhile, District Court Judge Brent Weigle filed to run for another six year term last month.
Weigle was unopposed for another six year term when he was re-elected in 2014.
So far, neither judge is facing any opposition.
