(NOBLE COUNTY, IN.) – (WTVB) – A man from Angola, Indiana is facing numerous charges after he alledgedly led police on a high speed chase in a stolen Trans Am on Tuesday afternoon in northeast Indiana.
27-year-old Nathan Lundgren was apprehended in Noble County after the pursuit reached speeds of up 115 miles an hour on a rural stretch of State Road 9.
The chase ended when the stolen car struck a deflation device, ran off the road and came to rest in a ditch.
The Indiana State Police say Lundgren physically resisted but Troopers quickly gained control and took him into custody without further incident or subsequent injury.
As a precautionary measure, Lundgren was examined at the scene by medical personnel prior to being taken to the Noble County Jail.
