WATERFORD, MI. – (WTVB) – Two Coldwater girls made it to the Final 16 at the M.H.S.A.A. Division Two Girls Bowling State Finals which were held at Century Lanes in Waterford on Saturday.
Rilee Cooper-Lewis was the top finisher as she earned a medal by finishing in the top eight.
After being the 13th seed coming out of qualifications, Cooper-Lewis won in the opening round of match play over fourth seed Liza Verrier of Tecumseh 351-334 but lost in the quarterfinals to Ryan Giese of Carleton Airport 452-308.
Coldwater’s Noella Keplinger was the sixth seed coming out of qualifications but lost to Kayla Tafanelli of Warren Woods Tower 401-374 in the first round of match play.
