THREE RIVERS, MI. – (WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of a 45-year-old man being beaten up by six individuals and robbed early Monday morning north of Three Rivers.
The department says the victim suffered several injuries to the face including a chipped tooth and a swollen eye.
They say the man was apparently walking north on U.S. 131 when the assailants jumped out of a vehicle, beat him up, and reportedly stole $350 in cash before fleeing.
No suspect descriptions have been released yet.
