COLDWATER, MI. – (WTVB) – Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility and Rehabilitation has stopped allowing visitors as of 8:00 p.m. Thursday night due to COVID-19.
Visitors were screened by Maple Lawn staff on Thursday for respiratory illness symptoms, temperature, and recent travel. Those with a temperature of 100.6 or greater were not allowed to visit.
No children under the age of 16 will be allowed.
Until further notice, visitors will only be allowed for emergency situations or end of life visits. In this situation only two family members will be allowed at one time and will only be allowed to go directly to the resident room.
Care conferences will be held by telephone.
Families are encouraged to like Maple Lawn’s Facebook page as it will be updated it with the latest information.
Skype and FaceTime will be set up so that families will be able to see and contact loved ones. That information will be placed on Facebook when it is available.
