BATTLE CREEK, MI. – (WTVB) – Kellogg Community College has announced that because of Covid-19 in Michigan, face-to-face instruction will be suspended on all K.C.C. campuses in Barry, Branch and Calhoun counties next week.
All campuses will be open and supportive services will be available, but no face-to-face classes will be held during the week.
In addition, all internships, clinicals and other off-campus face-to-face instructional activities will be suspended for the week.
During the week, KCC faculty and staff will transition face-to-face classes to other formats.
In a letter posted on the college’s web site, Chief Communications Officer Eric J. Greene says the action is being taken in accordance with guidance from the state and out of an abundance of caution.
If you are currently taking a class that is fully online, there will be no changes to your current interactions, schedule and learning environment. Your online classes will continue without interruption.
Students will receive specific instruction by email next Thursday from their individual instructors regarding how classes proceed for the remainder of the semester. All classes that were suspended will resume in their new formats on Monday, March 23rd.
