COLDWATER, MI. – (WTVB) – Coldwater’s Carlee Crabtree was recently named to the Interstate 8 All-Conference team for the fourth consecutive season.
Crabtree led the conference in scoring this season while averaging 19.4 points per game and also averaged a league career high with 6.6 rebounds per game.
Her younger brother Ethan was named this year to the All Interstate 8 Conference Boys Basketball team.
The Lady Cardinals finished with a 6-8 conference record which put them in a tie for fourth place with Marshall.
Parma Western won the league championship, beating Harper Creek on the final day of the regular season to finish at 13-1.
Other members of the All-Conference team were Western’s Hilary Griffin and Natalie Shellberg, Harper Creek’s Maddie Alexander and Abbey Hicks, Jackson Northwest’s Morgan Hanchett and Jozie Bontrager, Marshall’s Katie Foster, Jackson Lumen Christi’s Cat Carroll and Pennfield’s Abby Schwartz.
Named to the Honorable Mention team were Western’s Alyna Lewis and Reece Hitt, Harper Creek’s Marley Bussler and Maddie Thompson, Jackson Northwest’s Brooklyn Bevier and Layne Sleight, Marshall’s Mallory Tucker and Abby Welke, Jackson Lumen Christi’s Allie Sweeny and Hastings’ Macy Winager.
