COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In the midst of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the Branch County Community Foundation is asking for donations to their Forever Fund for emergency assistance for local nonprofits.
Community Foundation officials say while they do not yet know what the long-term effects of this crisis will be, their grantee partners and other community members are helping them determine where needs are most critical right now. They will be working closely with the Branch County United Way and St. Joseph County United Way, as well as many other local agencies in the effort.
They say they know “government will address some of the needs, but as they learn how best to address this evolving pandemic together, the impact of regional collaboration and local contributions has never been more apparent.”
