BRONSON, MI. – (WTVB) – Like other districts around the State of Michigan, the Bronson Community School District is providing free meals to students and families while schools are shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bronson Schools Superintendent Steve Wilson says they will be adjusting their meal distributions starting on Monday, April sixth.
Meals will be distributed only on Mondays and Thursdays. He says the district is doing this to cut down on back and forth travel and to help reduce the risk for people being out in public.
The district contracts with Chartwells for its food service.
Wilson says multiple meals will be distributed during the pickups.
Meals can be picked up from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays at Door 6 at Bronson High School.
