KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order, the Catholic Diocese of Kalamazoo will be live streaming Holy Week and Easter services on their website and Facebook page.
The liturgies will be led by Bishop Paul J. Bradley from St. Augustine Cathedral.
The first took place on Palm Sunday.
The schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:
- Tuesday, April 7: The Chrism Mass, Blessing of the Holy Oils used during the administration of sacraments, 11 a.m.
- Thursday, April 9: Holy Thursday, the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 10: Good Friday – Noon: The Seven Last Words of Christ; 1 p.m.: Stations of the Cross; 1:30 p.m.: Solemn Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion
- Saturday, April 11: Holy Saturday, the Easter Vigil, 9 p.m.
- Sunday, April 12: Easter Sunday Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection, 10 a.m.
