COLDWATER, MI. – (WTVB) – The Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Promise Scholarship Program has received a $25,000 gift from ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital with support from Toledo based ProMedica Foundation.
A news release from the hospital says this donation makes the hospital a “Keystone” Corporate Partner in the public match campaign launched by the Scholarship Program Team.
The Scholarship Program was established two years ago in partnership with the Kellogg Community College Foundation through initial support from the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Club and its Foundation.
Last fall, the Promise Program awarded 19 needs-based scholarships totaling $20,000 to students enrolled in the health care and skilled trades programs offered by K.C.C..
The Promise Endowment was established in late 2018 with a goal of raising $500,000 by 2025. The goal of the Keystone Public Match campaign is to raise $200,000 for the Promise Endowment over the next two years.
The hospital joins Southern Michigan Bank & Trust and Century Bank & Trust as “Keystone” Corporate Partners.
