KINDERHOOK, MI (WTVB) – A motorcyclist escaped with minor injuries on Saturday afternoon after being struck by a pickup truck south of Kinderhook.
The crash was reported at about 3:45 p.m. on Old U.S. 27 between Copeland and Southern Roads.
Michigan State Police say the driver of the pickup had stopped to get their mail while being in the opposite direction of travel.
As the driver headed back to their driveway, the motorcycle was struck.
Michigan State Police were assisted by the Lakeland Fire Department and the Branch County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
