ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is reporting multiple cases of break-ins and property theft that occurred last week.
The first case reported occurred at Mill Race Storage Units in the Village of Centreville sometime between April 6 and April 7. Police responded to the area around 4:17 a.m. on April 7 for a report of a B&E-forced entry report.
The property stolen from the storage unit includes a 12-inch speaker box, a Camo duffel bag filledwith clothes, and women’s rock revival jeans. A play child’s kitchen was also broken.
Later on that day, around 3:30 p.m., police responded to a second B&E report at the same storage unit. The second case is also suspected of taking place in the same time frame between April 6 and 7.
In the second case, property stolen includes multiple cameras, two tablets, a laptop, a Nintendo DS gaming system, fishing poles and tackle and other miscellaneous items.

Finally, deputies are investigating a report of a stolen golf cart in White Pigeon Township.
Police say this incident occurred in the 71000 Block of Roosevelt Rd. between 11:30 p.m. on April 9 and 11 a.m. on April 10.
The stolen golf cart is described as a metallic green 2009 E-Z-GO, lifted with chrome rims, and a handicap sticker on the front. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Deputy Mark Mellinger at 269-467-9045 ext. 327
