NORTH WEBSTER, IN (WTVB) – Spring weather will be practicing social distancing from Branch County into the weekend as the National Weather Service is calling for winter like conditions in the middle of April.
Highs should be in the mid 50s this time of year but will only be around 40 through Friday.
Forecasters say a quick moving system is expected to move across the area Thursday night into Friday that will bring chances for accumulating snow.
While the forecast continues to be refined, widespread snow amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible with locally higher amounts.
This snow shouldn’t hang around for long as temperatures increase into the 40s and snow changes to rain on Friday. Warmer weather is expected to move in this weekend.
