NORTH WEBSTER, IN (WTVB) – Just two weeks before the merry month of May, the National Weather Service says accumulating snow is likely on Thursday night into Friday morning as winter makes a very unwelcomed return.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the entire area for two to five inches of snow. Those who have to be on the roads can plan on slippery drivng conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
The snow may be heavy times. Most of the snow accumulation is expected from roughly 6:00 a.m. until 12 noon..
At last report, most of Branch County is expected to get three to four inches of snow with four to six inches possible in northern Indiana. .
To complicate things, there will be more of a wintry mix in some locations.
Expect a transition from snow to a wintry mix or even all rain during the day for the remainder of the area Friday before precipitation tapers off in the late afternoon.
