YORK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Former Michigan State University receiver Mark Ingram Sr. has been approved to be released from Milan, Michigan federal prison to home confinement during the coronavirus pandemic.
His attorney said Ingram is suffering from dementia and susceptible to the virus.
Ingram played 10 years in the NFL and won a Super Bowl ring.
The 54-year-old Flint native has 10 months remaining on a 21-month sentence from a bank fraud and laundering drug money conviction. His son by the same name is a Baltimore Ravens running back.
