Robert Lee Latson, 65, formerly of Quincy, passed away April 25,
2020 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon, MI.
Robert was born on November 6, 1954 and was a graduate of Quincy
High School class of 1974.
Robert was a lover of all things outdoors, he loved hunting,
fishing, and watching the races, he enjoyed spending every Saturday night at
the race track. Robert smiled and talked to everyone he met.
Robert is survived by his mother Wanda Freeburn, wife Bobbie
(Bowman) Latson, Daughters Wendy (Josh) Hilyard, Crystal (Walter) Wolf, three
grandsons Shane, Hunter and Skylar, three step children Jim (Michelle) Brown,
Destiny and Danny Gallop and step grandkids Logan, Colin, Akura, Day, Tony and
Xavier. Sisters Tammy (Gary) Vanderpool, Pam (Perry)Knepper, Paula (Jay) Roxey, Sherrie(Mike)
Gardner, Gloria (Dennis) Sanford, Brother Brad (Teri) Freeburn, Stepbrother Jack Latson and several
nieces and nephews.
Bob is proceeded in death by his father’s Tom Latson and Eugene
Freeburn and granddaughter Brittyn Kay.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
