COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a request from the Commission on Aging on Tuesday to put a millage renewal proposal on the August fourth Primary ballot.
The renewal request is for 0.2424 mills for 10 years between 2021 and 2030.
It would raise over $360,000 in the first calendar year.
The funds would be used for building debt retirement, renovation, equipping, furnishing and operating the Burnside Senior Center.
No changes will be made to what is in effect now.
