UNDATED – (WTVB) – Two players from Reading and another from Tekonsha have been named to the West Team roster for the 38th annual Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star game.
The game will not be held this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic but organizers went ahead and announced rosters over the last couple of days.
Making the West Team were offensive lineman Nick Affholter and defensive lineman Ben Affholter from Reading and running back Mykel Warren from Tekonsha.
The Affholters were members on back-to-back state championship teams at Reading. Both earned All-State honors three times. They will be attending Hillsdale College this fall.
Warren led all eight person football teams in the state last season in rushing yards, touchdowns and scoring.
