COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Crews working on the new Branch County Jail struck a water line on Monday afternoon which resulted in a leak.
Branch County Administrator Bud Norman said during Tuesday’s Board of Commissioners meeting the line was not on the blueprints.
The water serves the jail and two other buildings in the complex.
It only took a few hours for the repairs to be made by the Coldwater B.P.U. and work crews on the site.
Pressure was returned on Monday night.
The break was in the southeast corner of the grading. Norman did not think the break will interfere with the jail construction.
