CHARLOTTE, NC (WTVB) – NASCAR announced it will resume its season with two Cup Series races within a four-day span at Darlington Raceway, with the first to be held May 17.
Both events will take place without fans in attendance, as will the annual Memorial Day weekend race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Coca-Cola 600.
NASCAR suspended its season March 13 and has been holding virtual races during the hiatus with both current and former drivers competing.
There has been no official word on the status of the Firekeeprs Casino 400, originally scheduled for June 7, 2020 at Michigan International Speedway.
