COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County 911 Director Kurt Spalding told the 911 Communications Board of Wednesday they are down four employees following a recent termination.
Spalding said an employee was let go due to issues with the training she was taking and she was also late for work twice.
He said they now have six employees and a supervisor.
One of the employees will be off for a few days in order to undergo some minor surgery.
Spalding said training is becoming difficult because they have to hire people now who don’t have any type of experience in the public field and it’s a different world.
He added a former Hillsdale County dispatcher will be trained for a job with Branch County 911.
