COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Vendors are being sought for the upcoming season by the Coldwater Farmers Market Committee.
The Market will be in a new location at the Creal A.Y.S.O. Soccer Complex parking lot on the north side of Coldwater in order to promote social distancing. It will still run every Saturday for 12 weeks from June 27 until September 12.
The Farmers’ Market Committee is encouraging the use of locally grown products by vendors who can chose to commit week-by-week or for the full season. They are looking for those that sell fresh fruits, vegetables, maple syrup, meat, eggs, dairy, baked goods, dry goods and prepared foods like salsas or sauces.
Due to the guidelines set by the Michigan Farmers Market Association, no crafts or flowers will be available for sale. No mass produced items will be allowed.
Interested vendors can attend a Virtual Vendor Meeting on Thursday, May 21 at 4:00 p.m. by calling in or through Zoom. At the meeting, the guidelines will be reviewed, the 2020 policies of the Market will be discussed, and any questions of vendors answered.
For more information about the Market, go to the market’s website at www.TheCornerFarmersMarket.com, find the market on Facebook: The Corner Farmers Market or call (517) 618-1515.
