QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Community School officials have announced the rescheduling of graduation related events as the COVID-19 pandemic has caused some significant changes in school functions and activities.
A Senior Parade and a Senior Virtual Tribute will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2020 which was the original date for the Graduation Ceremony.
A car parade in honor of the Quincy Class of 2020 will be held through the village. In order to stay within all rules established by the Governor’s executive orders, all students and families are asked to stay in their vehicles throughout this event.
The school is also planning on running a Virtual Senior Tribute online next Sunday.
Following a survey of Quincy students, the Graduation Ceremony has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2020. The backup dates are July 19 and August 2.
Senior Scholarship Night will be run virtually on Wednesday, May 27 with Senior Awards Night will also be virtual on Thursday, May 28.
